Distributor Roadside Attractions has acquired the US rights to Stonewall , the Roland Emmerich-directed gay rights drama which stars Jeremy Irvine, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ron Perlman and Jonny Beauchamp. The film tells the story of the 1969 police raid of the Stonewall Inn in New York's Greenwich Village that became one of the defining moments of the gay rights movement.
