Theatre impresario Stanley Chase brought Threepenny to NYC

At the age of 26, Stanley Chase produced an English-language adaptation of The Threepenny Opera at the Theater de Lys in Greenwich Village. Mr. Chase went on to become a prolific producer of theatre, film and television drama.
