Zubair Khan, 41, of Manhattan, confirmed as pilot of plane that crashed in LI Sound

Southold Town police provided some details about the recovery of the single-engine experimental plane that crashed into the Long Island Sound north of Mattituck Inlet on July 7, 2014, killing the pilot, Manhattan resident Zubair Khan.
