Back in the '60s, New York gave birth to a cultural revolution

In the Coen brothers' movie "Inside Llewyn Davis," Oscar Isaac plays a folk singer barely making a living in Greenwich Village in the early '60s, sleeping on the couches of downtown friends, presumably unaware of a singer from Hibbing, Minn., who has just hit town and will change the world -- but not quite yet.
